Thinking about applying to law school?

It can be convoluted, confusing, and complicated. (At least it might feel that way.) Not to mention, incredibly competitive (yes, that’s four “c”s that can all equally describe law admissions).

The good news?

It doesn’t have to be. Clear Path Admissions Consulting is here to break down the process step-by-step and guide you on your admissions journey, with as much (or as little) hand-holding as you want. Let my expertise and experience help you clear the path to achieve your goals.

Resources + blog

When I started Clear Path, I did some research on things like law school rankings, what current applicants are concerned about, and just general law school trends—and I came across a lot of great stuff. To that end, I’ll post helpful articles, resources, and other things here. I’ll keep this updated as often as I can, but if you see something that is outdated or defunct (I’m only human, after all), please use the contact form below to let me know.

Do you really need a law school admissions consultant?

As any good lawyer would say: It depends. A law school admissions consultant isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. It really depends on you and what you feel like you want to gain out of the process. Ask yourself these questions to see if you might (or might not) want to hire me.

1) Do I feel like I have a good handle on how to write my personal statement, and what to write about?

2)Do I have extenuating circumstances surrounding my application (a GPA or LSAT score explanation, something that makes you diverse compared to the general law school application population, a character and fitness issue, etc.) that I need help with?

3) Do I feel lost in the law school application process and want someone to guide me through it, or do I just want some help crafting my application materials? Does my background (first-generation high school/college student, low-income, member of an under-represented minority group, non-traditional, etc.) mean that I don’t quite have a grasp on what the application process involves due to not having any guidance from others?

4) Do I want help choosing law schools where I might be a good fit?

If you answered “yes” to any of these, you might benefit from hiring me (and I offer a free 30-minute consultation so that you can chat with me first). I can help you make the most of your application and showcase your strengths. If you answered “no,” no big deal—you’re doing just fine on your own and I wish you the best of luck!
